Values held by the Bazaar
The Bazaar is a unique organisation. Over the last 25 years it has grown into the
largest covered market in Europe. This cannot be achieved by anyone alone. The
success of the Bazaar lies in the cooperation with stallholders, suppliers, govern-
ments etc. Opportunities that no-one else could see have been realised in Beverwijk.
Adventurous entrepreneurship has played an essential role and the Bazaar is proud
of everyone who has contributed to its success. We are particularly proud because
nowhere else in Europe do so many successful entrepreneurs from so many different
cultures come together as they do here at the Bazaar. Every weekend, over 60,000
visitors enjoy the fruits of our success. For them, the Bazaar means a great day out,
time and again!
In order to maintain our leading position, it is important that the entire organisation
stands to serve the market, stallholders and visitors. We have summarised our
culture in four core values:
Together- The Bazaar is the product of good cooperation between the market
organisation and the stallholders. Cooperation is important, thinking together is
essential. Only in this way can we achieve the optimum result: a fantastic day
at the market for our visitors.
Result Oriented- It is important to set clear objectives and to work towards
them, not only as individuals, but also as a team. In this way objectives can
be realised, and we can work together towards improvement where possible.
Pride- We work in the largest covered market in Europe and we are proud of it.
We exude pride without arrogance. We are all part of the Bazaar.
Passion- We are passionate about our work, both during and after hours. Even
in our private lives, the Bazaar is always a part of us.
