Oosterse Markt (Oriental Market)
The Oosterse Markt began in 1982 shortly after the ‘Zwarte’ Markt was established.
This market offers enormous variety in the vegetable market streets. Looking for
spices? Pay a visit to the celebrated Kruidenplein (spice plaza). Middle Eastern
butchers and artisan bakers sell the most delicious specialities. There is an abundance
of colours, aromas and tastes at the Oosterse Markt, which has plenty more to offer
