Guide Dogs
Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the Bazaar, with the exception of guide dogs.
Guide dogs are allowed into the Bazaar.
First Aid Post
The First Aid Post is located near to the cash desk on the Ringvaartweg by Hal 28.
Bicycles and Bicycle Storage
Of course you can also cycle to the Bazaar. The bike storage area is located at the
entrance to the ‘Black’ Markt (on the Parallelweg) and in front of the Oosterse Markt
(Oriental Market).
Lost and Found
Lost and found property is stored at the market office. If you have either lost or
found something, please let us know, or hand in the property at the market office.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Toilets for the Disabled
Toilets for the disabled are located at the Oosterse markt (Oriental Market), on the
left next to Hal 31, and on the square by the ‘Zwarte’ Markt (next to café Spiegeltent
de Salon).
Parking Facilities for the Disabled
Parking for disabled persons is available at the Bazaar car parks P4 en P1, and along
the road opposite the Oosterse Markt (Oriental Market).
Free Map
Finding your way in the Bazaar is simple: free maps are available at the checkouts
and information terminals. There are also several information boards in and around
the market.
'Pinning’ & 'Chipping’
'Pin' Machines
There are several places at the Bazaar where you can 'Pin' (this means to value
Moneyfrom your bank or creditcard): at the Rabobank (next to Hall 31, car park P2),
the Postbank (entrance to the 'Zwarte' Markt and 'Zwarte' Markt square), the ING
Bank (market office), SNS Moneybox (Hal 2 nearby the rostrum), and ABN AMRO
bank(the Bazaar Boulevard).
'Chip' Machines (to 'Chip' is to use a rechargeable debet-card from a Dutch bank)
The 'Chip' card can be recharged at all the car park ticket machines at the Bazaar.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs may be borrowed from the Bazaar provided a reservation is made in
advance. We ask a deposit of € 50.00 to be paid at the market office, where a
copy of your ID papers will also be made. Deposits are refunded on return of the
wheelchair.
Access for Disabled People
The Bazaar is easily accessible for disabled persons. The carers may visit the
entire market free of charge.
Toilets
A fee of € 0.20 is charged to use the toilets. There are numerous toilet units
around the Bazaar, including toilets for disabled persons (see above).
Lost Child Announcements
If you have been separated from your child, please report this to the market
office. From here it is possible to make a lost child announcement using our
PA system. The office can then serve as a meeting place for the parent/guardian
and child.
